154 - Seed Planting.
Day 154 - Hey, hey hey. Thursday is here and we have been talking a lot about summer in our house. A few weeks ago we planted a bunch of watermelon seeds in hopes we would enjoy the crisp, red, juicy, crunchy fruit when late summer rolls around. Unfortunately, the seeds never germinated and It looks like we will need to buy our watermelon at the market. However, the whole process got me to thinking about planting a seed. How many times in our life have we planted a seed only to wait and hope it will grow? It dawned on me that when something doesn't grow, I force myself to take a hard look at what's not working and who I need to consult to get plant budding. Often times, when I find myself doubting my farming abilities, it's the knowledge and caring from other people that pushes my seeds to sprout. In short, it's a village that raises a bountiful garden.
Today create generosity and help someone grow their seeds. Call the person who is struggling to develop a business, subscribe to the website needing a push, tell your friend you have a recipe to make dinner easier or reach out to the coworker needing help on a presentation. Create the rain shower and spread the sunshine that will help their seeds grow.
I'm headed off to water other people's garden but let me leave you with quote until tomorrow. "Don't Judge Each Day By The Harvest You Reap But By The Seeds You Plant." - Robert Louis Stevenson
