Morning. Sunday brunch sounds great doesn't it? Let's toast the weekend. Today is national tequila day too. What better way to marry brunch and national tequila day than to create a drink worthy of toasting the weekend, the Bloody Maria.

A Bloody Maria has all the fixings of a Bloody Mary, but all the tomato madness is mixed with tequila and lots of spice. Although, I personally love the drink without the tequila. The sweet, smoky and tart tomatoes mixed with the spicy, tangy peppers puts a little extra zip into any late brunch! Remember the pickled vegetable spicy skewers post from a few days ago? Well, there was a method to my madness. I'm are going to use those skewers to dress up a little pre-made Bloody Mary Mix and celebrate Sunday,

Is today's project to make a batch of Morning Maria's? Nope. Today's project to create something special to toast the weekend. Maybe it's making a glass of Bloody Maria's? Or creating time to take a long hike around a lake? Sitting and enjoying the sunrise or sunset this morning or evening? Create time to celebrate life the morning.
