The Smoothie. We either love to sip a sweet power packed smoothie or hate the idea of drinking a cold, blended cup of goop. Either way, smoothies are usually dedicated to health nuts and punch lines. However, smoothies can make us happy. That's right a few cups of fruit, a dash of protein and a blender can make your body and mind jump for joy. It goes without saying that we all could stand to slurp a few more smoothies into our bodies. Here is a recipe for a protein-packed slurry full of go-go juice.
Go Go Smoothie
- 1 cup coconut water
- 1/2 coconut milk
- 1 small banana peeled
- 1/2 cup roasted & salted pumpkin seeds
- 1/2 cup frozen wild blueberries
- 3/4 cup frozen organic strawberries
Step 1: Place all ingredients into a blender. Blend for 2-3 minutes until smooth. Makes about 2 - 8oz servings.
Step 2: Drink up and jump for joy with happiness.
