Day 362 - Now Is The Time To Slow Down And Take In The Happiness.

Oh hey. Today is the day to create a slow down. Someone in my life has a terrible practice of reflecting on the end before things begin. It doesn't matter if it's a vacation, special holiday or a nice dinner. She will inevitably say "Well, it's going to go fast." The phrase has a way of killing the joy of the moment, but it does have the intended effect. To remind us that it can be hard to take in happiness. We want to grasp it when it appears but like a wind it comes in and our of our lives. It's something in which we want to hold tight but isn't tangible. During the holidays, happiness can seem lost in the many expectations. Today stop and create a moment to find the happiness that is around you.
