As the holidays roll through our lives, the holiday stress to get things done can overwhelm even the most organized reveler. That’s why I want to share with you a 5-minute project to take our minds off all the chaos, DIY Pom Poms.

These little fluffy delights are just like the sprinkles on a perfectly iced sugar cookie; easy to make and even easier to enjoy!

DIY Pom Poms

yarn
a kitchen fork
embroidery string (optional)
scissors

Step 1: Take the end of the yarn and pull it through the fork tines.

Step 2: Wrap the yarn around all the fork tines 60 times.

Step 3: With the embroidery string, tie a knot around the yarn. Slide the yarn off the fork and cut the yarn loops on the right and left sides.

Step 4: Give your new pom pom a haircut and it’s done!

Use the pom pom to add a little burst of fluffy delight to any package, mark the pages in a good book or stand back and let the easy fun of making a pom pom release the stress of the holidays!
